Where the filter is
Upper-left interior wall of the fresh food compartment It is a quarter-turn cartridge: twist counter-clockwise to release, pull straight out, push the new one in and turn clockwise until it stops.
Changing it in three steps
- Open the housing and turn the old cartridge a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
- Seat the new cartridge — O-rings flat, cap removed — and turn clockwise until it stops.
- Flush two to three gallons, then hold the Filter Reset button for three seconds.
